All State CPOs,
This is a final reminder to your agency that the 115 paper process of approvals by OMES-Information Services Division for IT Purchases will be discontinued and all ePro training must be completed or you will no longer be able to continue with IT purchases.
The new business process for all IT purchases is to submit an ePro requisition via PeopleSoft for all agencies. ISD procurement will no longer accept paper requests for IT purchases after training has been completed. It will be your agency’s responsibility to have all requestors, approvers and account validating personnel trained before your agency can go live with the ePro process. Once your agency is live with ePro, any new employees to your agency may be trained onsite.
In preparation for the new ePro Process rollout, OMES-ISD Procurement will offer the following to facilitate you in this transition. A training lab will available every Tuesday and Thursday in October for anyone who would like hands on practice in the ePro test environment. You do not have to sign up to come to the lab. The lab hours will be from 9-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in October on a first-come-first-served basis. Please Note: The lab will not be available on Oct. 9; all other Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in October will be available.
The Training lab will be at the following location:
OMES (OSF ISD) Data Center
3115 N. Lincoln Blvd.
Oklahoma City, OK 73112
Once training is completed and your forms have been submitted, we will work to obtain your access to ePro. At this time there is a backlog of requests so please allow 2 weeks for processing, then contact the OMES Service Desk if your access is not granted.
We appreciate your assistance with this. Please refer any questions concerning this announcement to the OMES Service Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or (405) 521-2444.
