TO: All Agency Directors
FROM: Alex Z. Pettit, State Chief Information Officer

SUBJECT: STATEWIDE MICROSOFT ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT
I am pleased to announce that the Office of State Finance (OSF) [to be renamed effective 8/24 to the Office of Management and Enterprise Services - OMES] and Microsoft have completed negotiations to implement a Statewide Microsoft Enterprise licensing agreement that will benefit the State of Oklahoma. In this agreement, all of the existing Agency Enterprise Agreements have been consolidated into one statewide agreement. The agreement also entitles all Oklahoma state agencies to purchase any of the Microsoft Core Desktop suite items directly through OSF/OMES. State agencies that currently have Software Assurance agreements will also be included.
OSF/OMES will now invoice agencies for the Microsoft products that will be provided under the new Enterprise Agreement. A detailed listing of products is listed below:
Products Included in Statewide Agreement
Please note that not all Microsoft licensing is covered under the new agreement. If a state agency needs to purchase new Microsoft Licensing such as Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project or other products not listed above, those purchases will still need to use statewide contract ITSW1010O SHI. The process for ordering Microsoft products is like any other purchase. If the agency is using ePro, only the requisition and support documentation are required. If the agency is not using ePro, a Form 115 with supporting documentation are required. The difference is for the Microsoft products included in the Enterprise Agreement (EA) the vendor on the requisition is OSF/OMES; for the products not on the EA the vendor on the requisition is SHI.
Any questions should be directed to the OSF Help Desk at (405) 521-2444 or helpdesk@osf.ok.gov.
