OKLAHOMA CITY--The Office of State Finance (OSF) Information Services Division (ISD) Service Desk is now offering staff support 24 hours a day to all state employees, as well as the general public.
The OSF Service Desk will be providing 18 hours of staffed in-office support from the hours of 6 a.m. until midnight, and complete coverage telephone support from the hours of midnight to 6 a.m.
"The increase in the number of requests for service after normal business hours made it necessary to increase our availability in order to provide speedier resolutions to our customer's concerns," said OSF Customer Service and Service Desk Manager Drew Hall.
The OSF Service Desk unveiled its new 24-hour staff support starting July 1, at no additional cost by reallocating existing personnel and adjusting roles to meet the evolving demand.
“OSF-ISD’s goal is to do everything we can to serve the citizens of Oklahoma as inexpensively as possible” Hall said.
OSF-ISD, in addition to providing technical support through the service desk, is responsible for the state’s data center and central communication system, implementing and processing the state’s integrated financial and management information system (CORE) and managing the state portal system, www.OK.gov. ISD is also responsible for coordinating the information technology and telecommunication long-range planning for state agencies.
